Fleeing Suspects Fire Shots: Mslasini - KZN Several shots were fired by suspects as they fled the scene of a robbery at a tuck shop in Mslasini, Everest Heights lady night (Friday).
At approximately 20:29 the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Center received calls from
residents of the informal settlement reporting shots being fired.
Reaction Officers were dispatched to investigate and on arrival establishment that four men had entered a tuck shop and robbed one pe rson of his Huawei and Nokia cellphones.
One of the suspects was armed with a firearm.
An employee was locked inside the cash office which the suspects demanded that he open.
When he refused the suspects exited the store and fired several shots.
No injuries were reported.
Several spent 9mm cartridges were recovered.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
