The EFF has defended its protests at H&M stores in Gauteng which have turned violent. The red berets stormed into the stores in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Ekurhuleni including Sandton City, Clearwater and Brightwater Malls and Menlyn Shopping Centre. The party members are protesting against inscriptions on the store's clothing which include "coolest monkey in the jungle" which a black boy modelled. EFF Spokesperson, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi says the days of denegrading black people are over: " The days of apologising for engaging in anti-black racism are over. And everybody particularly institutions that denegrade black people, they will always be the target of the Economic Freedom Fighters. We will visit them the way we visited H&M today."
