The death toll on Western Cape roads has risen to seven since the start of the weekend. Provincial Traffic Chief, Kenny Africa, says in the latest fatal crash a 36 year old man was knocked down by a vehicle in

Lwandle near the Strand. He says four pedestrians are among the deceased: "On Friday a 32-year old pedestrian died in Klapmuts and in Atlantis a 62-year-old female pedestrian was knocked over and in Manenberg 45-year old male also died in a motor vehicle accident. Yesterday in Villiersdorp a 27-year old male driver died in a motor vehicle crash.. In Mitchells Plain another passenger died in a motor vehicle crash. And in Parow a 40-old male passenger also

lost his life in a motor vehicle accident."
