The driver of a drive-by shooting that claimed the life of a seven-year boy in Parkwood, has been sentenced in the High Court in Cape Town to an effective 42 years behind bars. Twenty-eight-year old Marlon Neehuis is the second suspect to be sentenced for the murder of Ezra Daniels. In 2017, the boy was playing with a friend in Parkwood, when he was struck by a bullet in the neck. Two weeks ago, alleged gang leader, 33-year old Tasliem Bianchi was sentenced to 55 years for various crimes, including 25 years for the murder of Daniels. He was apprehended shortly after Daniels was killed in a drive-by shooting incident between two gangs. Three other suspects, accused of Ezra's murder were earlier this month acquitted of all charges.
