VANDERBIJLPARK - Pedestrian struck and killed by light motor vehicle....
A man in his 40s was killed last night when he was struck by a light motor vehicle on the N1 near the Vanderbijlpark offramp in Vanderbijlpark. At 21h22, ER24 Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the body of a man lying on the sidewalk.
The
car was found parked approximately 200 metres away. Medics assessed the man and found that he had already succumbed to his numerous injuries.
Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead. The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
