A South African crime thriller, "Number 37", will have its' world première at the upcoming South-By-South West (S-X-SW) International Film Festival in Texas in the USA this weekend. The movie's promoters say this is the first time that a local film will have its' international première at S-X-SW, as well as making selection for the prestigious annual affair. The flick's director and writer, Nosipho Dumisa, says the film is not about gangsters, but it's about everything that can go wrong for a couple when curiosity, greed and bad decision- making collide. "Number 37" tells the story of a man who witnesses a powerful criminal commits murder and then decides to blackmail him in an attempt to settle his debt. It stars among other, Monique Rockman, Deon Lotz, Elton Landrew, Ephraim Gordon and Danny Ross. South African audiences will have to wait until June this year for its' local release.
