The DA Federal Executive will be meeting on Sunday to discuss the future of Cape Town's Mayor, Patricia De Lille. This follows allegations levelled against her by officials within her administration, accusing her of covering up the wrongdoings of senior officials and questioning her governance. The Fedex has been investigating the in-fighting in the Cape Town caucus as well as the political management and governance situation in the city. However, De Lille claims her submissions regarding the matter are being ignored: " What is running through my whole submission to the Democratic Alliance is that certain allegations were made against me. I made certain allegations against some other members of the DA. What I am appealing for is a process where these allegations can be tested because all my responses to these allegations have either been ignored or have not been considered. I hope this Sunday that my responses will be considered but then start a process whereby we can sit and I can bring further evidence. I can bring witnesses, lets test the allegations." A prayer service in support of De Lille is set to take place at the World Harvest Christian Ministry in Langa on Sunday.
