Successful resuscitation - Cyclist Ballito
Earlier this morning IPSS paramdeics responded to a mountain bike park, where a man had reportedly collapsed after a trail-ride.
Upon arrival, it was established that a member of public was performing CPR on the man, after he showed no signs of life.
IPSS paramedics initiated advanced life support resuscitation and worked on the patient for 15min, at which point the cyclist regained cardiac activity.
The cyclist was transported by IPSS Medical Rescue to hospital for further care.
